Education inequity in China is a massive problem affecting tens of millions of children. We can’t solve it overnight.

In the short term, we are working urgently to help the children already being left behind by the system. In the long term, we are working to change the system that let them fall behind in the first place.

During the Fellowship, our Fellows work tirelessly in their schools to equip their students to succeed. This means investing students in the value of education and their own futures. At the same time, by working in these challenging classrooms, Fellows develop their own leadership skills and a deep understanding of the root causes of educational inequity.

After the Fellowship, our alumni form part of a powerful movement to end educational inequity in China. Equipped with a deep understanding of the root causes of education inequity and  the conviction that all children can achieve, these leaders will work from a variety of professional fields to expand educational opportunity in China. Teach For China provides the career development opportunities to further alumni impact out of the classroom.
