The text below constitutes the terms and conditions of usage for Teach for China (TFC)’s online presence. All items below are considered binding; usage of the TFC website implies consent.

Property

All items within the domain <www.tfchina.org> are the sole property of TFC. All images, text, and displays on the website cannot be reproduced either online or in any other medium without TFC’s expressed written consent.  “Teach for China,” “TFC,” and the TFC logo are all part of the organization’s intellectual property and cannot be appropriated for use by another organization. TFC reserves the right to take any and all actions provided for by law against copyright violations.

This website also contains both links to other sites outside the TFC domain and individual user-generated content. TFC cannot be held responsible in any way for the content of these pages.

Proper Usage

This website is intended for use by prospective, current, and former Fellows, staff members, Fellow family members, media representatives, and other interested parties. Any parties using the website to engage in solicitation, fund-raising, or recruitment for any organization other than TFC, or for any reason outside the scope of normal activities are in violation the terms and conditions statement and may be removed.

Users assigned a unique username and password are solely responsible for all actions taken through their individual accounts. Users who add individual content to the website that is deemed inappropriate, who abuse other users, or who TFC deems to be disrupting the site experience may have their accounts suspended or removed by site administrators with no advance warning. Users given access to information not available through public pages are reminded that all such information is confidential; violation of this confidentiality constitutes a breach of law.

Indemnification

By accessing the Teach for China website, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless TFC and its staff, trustees, Fellows, and agents against all liabilities, losses, damages and costs that may be incurred as a result of a violation of these terms. Should TFC choose to pursue action based on a violation, you agree to cooperate within the bounds of the law.

Teach for China does not guarantee access to its website to any party at any time. Website access may vary according to date, location, and user identity. TFC cannot be held responsible for any losses resulting from lack of access to its website.

Teach for China reserves the right to abridge, suspend, or terminate the access of any site user without notice and for any reason, including but not limited to violations of the conditions outlined above.
